MUSIC

The original motion soundtrack for The Switch was written and composed by Tommy J Housman, created specifically to mirror the film’s emotional and narrative progression. Built around an ambient electronic foundation, the score uses textures inspired by electricity and power—both as literal sound design and as a symbolic thread tied to the film’s central tension. Each track is connected, forming a continuous arc that moves from quiet strain and unease, through rising pressure, into moments of reflection and emerging hope, and ultimately toward a sense of urgency and determined resolve. The music is intentionally restrained and minimalist, allowing subtle shifts in tone, pacing, and texture to carry meaning. Presented here are the four tracks that make up the score, each representing a distinct stage in that progression.
